The jacket uses a two layer waterproof fabric with fully taped seams and a water column of 10,000 mmH2O. Breathability is rated at 10,000 g/m²/24h, which helps manage moisture during high activity. Insulation is provided by AWS Extreme, giving a warmth level 4 rating for sustained cold conditions, and the shell is made from polyester with recycled fibres to reduce material waste. Functional details concentrate on weather defence and comfort. The front closure has a waterproof, two way zip for easy ventilation and movement. Ventilation openings under the arms allow airflow when needed. A fixed, adjustable hood is helmet compatible and the hem adjusts for a closer fit. A fixed snow gaiter helps keep snow out of the hem when skiing. Practical pockets include internal storage and a dedicated ski pass pocket on the sleeve. Sleeves are pre-shaped and finished with adjustable cuffs, stretch inserts and thumbholes to seal out cold. The relaxed fit allows room for mid layers without restricting movement.
