IDC SPLICE CONNECTORS: Traditionally used in landline telephone applications, these IDC splice connectors can be used to splice, tap or repair damaged many types of low voltage conductors in voice and data applications. MOISTURE-RESISTANT: The internal moisture-resistant sealant protects wires from corrosion (indoor/outdoor use). USE: You can use 1 or 2 ports as per the connection requirements. 1 port for terminating the end of a loose/unused wire as an end cap and 2 ports for fixing a broken wire or extending a single run to a new location. EASY TO USE: Insert all unstripped conductors into the ports until they pass internal bus bar and reach the end of the connector. Place the connector assembly on 33-719 flat pad surface and slowly squeeze until the colored cap snaps down into place.
