Table lamp I Ricchi Poveri Toto by Ingo Maurer This designer table lamp is not characterised by an everyday appearance. It consists of a rectangular base, a very delicate metal rod, a low-voltage LED bulb and - last but not least - a brass ear cap! This is certainly the primary eye-catcher of I Ricchi Poveri Toto, which quickly evokes one or two associations and of course looks very funny. The lamp is supplied with a special E27 bulb that is only suitable for some lights in the I Ricchi Poveri range; a replacement bulb is included. This LED bulb not only changes the brightness when dimmed using the control on the cable, but also makes the light colour warmer from 2,700 K to 2,000 K. This creates a particularly cosy ambience. Ingo Maurer (born in 1932) is an admirer of the traditional light bulb. This is illustrated by some of his creations, such as the "Bulb" and "Birdie's Busch" table lamps. The "Bulb" launched the career of the trained typesetter and trained graphic designer as a lighting and luminaire designer in 1969. His work has been honoured with numerous awards, including the Design Award of the City of Munich, the Collab's Design Excellence Award of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany. Together with his team, he designs unique lights at the highest technical level in his company, Ingo Maurer GmbH, based in the Bavarian capital of Munich. He also realises lighting projects in public spaces, such as the redesign of Munich's "Münchner Freiheit" underground station.

Lamp MastersThere's no doubt that German designer Ingo Maurer is a Mickey Mouse fan. When the designer was asked to create a piece of art for The Walt Disney Company in 2016, there was no doubt that the little mouse in the red trousers would be the main subject, and Ingo Maurer drew Mickey's Manifesto. Now he's back with the mouse again, and this time, in classic Maurer fashion, it's an electric light bulb that gets the turn, just like the winged light bulb in his other popular series Lucellino. I Ricchi Poveri has a light bulb with Ambient technology, which means that it glows like a halogen, but is actually an LED. The lamp has dim-to-warm and is made of steel and brass.
