The galvanised gate bolt is 16mm diameter making these garage door bolts heavy duty. USES: This IRONTITE galvanised drop bolt is most commonly used as a garage door bolt, or garden gate bolt. The drop latch fits onto the back of the gate and secures into the floor using the slide bolt. Once the gate lock is down the gate cannot be opened from the opposite side, making this sliding lock ideal for garage / barn doors.
