Irwin 10502631 4mm HSS TCT Tip Drill Bits

The Irwin HSS TCT drill bit is designed for precision drilling in hardened materials using stationary drilling equipment. It features a 4.0 mm diameter, a total length of 75 mm, and a working length of 43 mm. The tip is Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) with a four-facetted ground profile for improved centering and lower drilling pressure, capable of drilling materials up to 50 Rockwell C hardness with the C2 carbide tip. The body is made from Chrome Vanadium Steel with a hardness of 56 Rockwell C. For extended tool life, a coolant emulsion in the range of 3-6% is recommended during use.
