The inflow and outflow pipes can be connected to either 12mm or 16mm tubing from an external canister filter, and mounted onto the aquarium glass via the suction cups provided. The spray bar provides an even gentle flow which helps agitate the water's surface area, allowing for greater oxygen exchange into the water column.
