Iwata Airbrush Thread Sealer by Portland Bee Balm Iwata Airbrush Thread Sealer IWCL-MTS101 is a maintenance product for threaded parts on airbrushes, spray guns and tools. Made in collaboration with Portland Bee Balm, it helps keep threaded seals air-tight, prevents sticking and remedies bubbles in an airbrush cup or bottle caused by air leaks. Crafted in Oregon using all-natural, organic, skin-safe ingredients, the thread sealer comes in a simple no-mess applicator. It can be applied after deep cleaning and whenever required to maintain threaded connections and help extend the life of the parts. Where to Use the Thread Sealer The sealer is intended for nozzle threads and nozzle or head cap threads. Applying it to these threaded areas helps maintain an air-tight seal while also helping to prevent the parts from sticking. For nozzle threads, dab the sealer against two opposite sides of the threads. For nozzle or head cap threads, dab the sealer against four opposite sides before gently tightening. Take care to keep the thread sealer away from the air and paint passageways. It should be applied to the threaded surfaces rather than allowed to enter the internal passages used for airflow or paint delivery. The sealer can be reapplied as needed to maintain the threaded seals and prevent sticking.
