Janneau 1985 Vintage Armagnac, 70 cl

Armagnac has been produced for over 700 years (first mentioned in 1310) making it the oldest Spirit in France (possibly the world). It’s one of three French “Appellation Contrôlée” brandies (others being Cognac and Calvados). Janneau is the worlds most awarded Armagnac and has won many accolades in the past years, including gold and double gold medals at San Francisco World Spirit Competition. All Janneau Vintage Armagnacs are presented in an elegant oak box, making them a very special gift, especially if the vintage year represents an anniversary or birth. Armagnac is unique in that it is one of the only appellations to release its brandies by vintage. Janneau matures its vintages for a minimum of 18 years before bottling to allow the spirit to soften and develop in complexity.
