Preparation Is Essential for a Lasting Finish: Before spraying, remove all soap scum, grease and cleaning product residue using a panel wipe or paint preparation degreaser — do not use washing-up liquid, as it leaves an invisible residue that prevents adhesion. Lightly sand the area with 400-grit wet-and-dry paper and wipe clean. Apply Thin Coats & Allow a Full 7-Day Cure: Apply 3–4 fine, even coats, allowing each coat to flash off before applying the next. Touch dry within 24 hours, but do not expose to water or return to use until a full 7-day cure is complete — using the bath too early is the most common cause of peeling.
