John Guest Speedfit STS10 Super Seal Pipe Insert - 10 mm - Set of 50 Piece

The Speedfit 10mm Superseal pipe insert provides added support for Speedfit pipe connections, helping the pipe ends stay round and minimise deformation when cutting. It features two O-ring seals to improve the overall seal between the pipe and the push-fit fitting, and is designed for use with hot and cold water and central heating systems.

Designed for Speedfit pipes and fittings, these inserts are available in a range of sizes from 10mm to 28mm and are approved by WRAS and the BBA. They are suitable for copper pipes made to BS EN 1057 and Speedfit barrier pipes made to BS7291, and are manufactured in the UK.

The insert is lead-free and corrosion-free, providing rigidity to the pipe connection when a side load is applied. With dual O-rings, it offers enhanced sealing compared to standard inserts and helps maintain the structural integrity of the connection.

Usage

1. Always use a JG Speedfit Superseal pipe insert when connecting Speedfit pipe to a Speedfit push-fit fitting.
2. The first O-ring prevents water passing between the inside of the pipe wall and the outside surface of the insert.
3. The second O-ring seals inside the push-fit fitting, creating a seal between the main pipe and the push-fit.
4. Inserts must be used on all Speedfit connections; when connecting to a Compression fitting, standard TSM inserts must be used.
