Speedfit plastic pipe inserts by John Guest provide extra support to pipework when connecting a pipe to a fitting. Ideal for hot and cold water and central heating systems, they help keep pipe ends round, minimising any loss of shape which might occur when you™re cutting them. Thanks to the two additional O-ring seals, these inserts support pipework structure and facilitate a more effective seal between the outside diameter of the pipe and the O-ring. Available in sizes from 10mm to 28mm in diameter, Superseal inserts can be used with copper pipes designed to a BS EN 1057 standard and Speedfit barrier pipes designed to a BS7291 standard.
