REDUCE LENS FLARE: Non-glare matte finish on the inside further prevents or limits 'flare' caused by light shining directly on the lens' front element. No vignetting will show with the hood on. SUPPORT REVERSE INSTALLATION: The aluminium alloy hood can be placed backwards over the lens for more compact storage. Allows putting on a Ф46mm filter and a Ф46mm lens cap.
