The John Guest Speedfit Braided Hose is a robust flexi hose designed to connect plastic or copper pipework quickly and safely. Its braided stainless steel outer layer protects the internal feed, providing a reliable upgrade over traditional hard piping. Suitable for domestic hot and cold water systems, it supports vented and unvented arrangements as well as mains-fed and indirect cold water supplies. With a push-fit installation and a 6 Bar working pressure at 65°C, this 300 mm hose (15 mm x 15 mm) is grey in colour and is approved to WRAS and NHBC standards. It is not suitable for gas, fuel oil, or compressed air, and requires a manufacturer’s insert for plastic pipes. The hose is designed for easy, tool-free installation and helps reduce routing constraints in tight spaces.

Designed and made in the UK, the Speedfit Flexi Hose features a grip and seal collet arrangement for secure connections. It is ideal for tight spaces and eliminates the need for hot works on site. The hose can join plastic and copper pipes to a male thread appliance, such as taps, with straightforward push-fit onto the pipe and screwing the nut onto the appliance thread.

This product is sold individually and is suitable for domestic hot and cold water applications. It is very flexible, enabling easier connections between pipes and reducing the need for multiple joints.

Usage

1. Push the fitting onto the pipe.
2. Screw the nut to the appliance thread.
3. To release, push the collet towards the fitting body and pull out the pipe.
