The John Guest Speedfit 22X15MM Speedfit Straight Reducer Coupler is a push-fit reducing straight connector designed to join pipe ends of different diameters. It is suitable for use in mains fed and indirect cold water systems, as well as vented and unvented hot water systems and central heating systems. The fitting is corrosion-free, lead-free and non-toxic, with no scale build-up, and is designed for easy installation and demounting without the need for adhesives or flames.

Details

This reducer connects plastic and copper pipe sizes with a quick push-fit method and a twist-to-lock nut. It is compatible with Speedfit PEX and polybutylene pipe (inserts required) and can be used with copper pipe to BS EN 1057. It is suitable for domestic hot and cold water, and central heating systems. The installation is straightforward: push the fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock in place, and it can be demounted without damaging the pipe or fitting. The fitting is BSI and WRAS approved.
