Rapala Jointed Minnow 130 mm 18g: Unleash the Legendary Wounded ActionWhen the bite gets tough and fish turn cautious, the legendary Rapala Jointed Minnow emerges as the ultimate problem-solver in your tackle box. This iconic lure takes the world-renowned action of the classic Rapala minnow and enhances it with a unique design that proves irresistible to even the most finicky predators. Its articulated, broken-back construction creates a swimming motion so lifelike and distressed, it triggers an aggressive, instinctual feeding response that other lures simply cannot match. Whether you´re targeting pike, zander, bass, trout, or salmon, the Jointed Minnow is your key to turning a slow day into an action-packed session. The core of this lure´s success lies in its exaggerated action. The joint in the body allows the tail section to move with a wider, more pronounced wobble and sway, perfectly imitating a baitfish that is injured and struggling. This vulnerable presentation signals an easy meal, drawing strikes from fish in a neutral or negative feeding state, a common challenge in high-pressure waters or during changing weather fronts. It's the go-to lure when subtle presentations are being ignored and you need something with that extra visual trigger to provoke a reaction.Slight exaggeration of Rapal´s unique baitfish in distress action. Can be fished like the Original Floater®, top to bottom. It is the perfect choice when fish are finicky and in a negative feeding mood.Consult available models in sizes. Unmatched Versatility and PerformanceThe Rapala Jointed Minnow is not just a one-trick pony, it´s a highly versatile tool that excels with a variety of retrieval techniques. As a floating lure, it allows you to work the entire water column effectively. On a slow, steady retrieve, it swims with its signature wide-kicking action just below the surface. Introduce twitches and pauses, and the lure will dart erratically and suspend momentarily, mimicking a confused or dying minnow—a tactic that often draws explosive strikes. You can also fish it near the bottom by using a countdown method, letting it sink to the desired depth before beginning your retrieve. Its effectiveness extends to slow trolling, where its dynamic action covers water and locates active fish with remarkable efficiency. Each lure is hand-tuned and tank-tested to ensure it performs perfectly right out of the box, adhering to the strict quality standards that have made Rapala a world leader.
