FOOD SAFE – Our 82 mm diameter lids are made of tin-plated sheet metal and coated on the inside with food-grade silicone sealant. This prevents the contents of the jar from reacting with the metal and the lid from corroding. TIGHTLY APPLICABLE – Six 82 mm diameter pressure-fit lids hermetically seal glass jars, both at room temperature and after heat treatment during sterilization or pasteurization. They effectively protect preserves from oxygen, moisture, and insects, thus extending their shelf life. TWIST-OFF CLOSURE – The lids are carefully shaped so that liquids and loose products sealed inside the jar retain their aroma.
