This adapter will enable you to connect a MAC 12+16 POINTS AHCI TYPE SSD to a USB port to use it as external storage or to retrieve data. ATTENTION: COUNT THE PINS OF YOUR SSD TO BE SURE OF YOUR CHOICE; THIS MODEL WILL FIT MAC AIR OR RETINA 12 + 16 PINS SSD (released mid 2013), and AHCI type. Suitable for SSDs extracted from the following models (non-exhaustive list): 11" Air Mi 2013, A1465(MD711.MD712) 13" Air Mi 2013, A1466 (MD760.MD761); 13" PRO Retina Fin 2013, A1502 (ME864, ME865, ME866) 15" PRO Retina Fin 2013, A1398 (ME293, ME294, ME874).
