The operating system must support SSD U2 (Win 10 recommended). CAUTION: Not all BIOSes support U.2 drives in NVMe format, so you'll need a BIOS with UEFI. In addition, software installation is often necessary with U.2 SSDs: contact the manufacturer of your SSD to be sure.
