The emblematic wine casks, for which Kavalan has become famous, tie everything together with a refreshing, fruit-driven counterpoint, resulting in an incredibly complex and elegant whisky. UNIQUE LOCATION AND CASK SELECTION The King Car Distillery is located in the sub-tropical Yilan region of North-Eastern Taiwan, where the whisky matures at a faster rate than in Europe. Add to this a unique cask selection of the finest bourbon barrels, port casks and wines casks, gives the whisky a unique character and profile that is unobtainable elsewhere.
