The carbon black coated steel nib with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) is a real workhorse. This coating is extremely wear-resistant. An iridium ball on the tip and a precisely measured nib gap minimise tolerances in line thicknesses from extra fine to extra wide. The nib comes in a black box with a special sleeve inspired by a Kaweco advertising design from the 1970s. The screw mechanism, which rotates the nib unit from our mid- to high-end writing instruments, allows the use of different nibs. The black steel nib has a 060 thread and fits in metal Sport series such as AL Sport, in the Liliput and in our longer writing instruments such as Dia2, Student and Special.
