The USB Port Lock provides a physical, software-free method to reduce the risk of data leakage, data theft, and malware by blocking USB ports from unauthorized access. Simply plug the lock into a USB port and press the button to secure it, with no technical experience required. A Cable Guard option allows a USB cable (such as for a keyboard or mouse) to be captured and locked in a port adjacent to the USB Port Lock. A USB Port Block can be used with a single lock to prevent access to adjacent ports, in either vertical or horizontal orientation, enabling continued secure use of authorized USB devices. If encryption software is already in place, this physical security layer adds additional protection against data theft. Extending security, the device can block multiple adjacent ports while still allowing a connected device to function, offering a practical, hardware-based safeguard for USB connections.
