Knipex 02 06 225 SB VDE High Leverage Combination Pliers 225mm

The Knipex 02 06 Series High Leverage Combination Pliers are designed for versatile electrical work. They feature VDE certification with testing up to 10,000 V and safe for work up to 1,000 V, and conform to DIN EN / IEC 60900. The pliers require 35% less effort than conventional combination pliers due to optimized leverage, making cutting, gripping, bending, and pulling easier. They have long cutting edges for thicker cables and gripping zones suitable for flat and round materials. Made from forged, multi-stage oil-hardened high-grade steel with a chrome-plated finish, these pliers offer durability and precision. Cutting edges have a hardness of approximately 63 HRC and are suitable for soft and hard wire as well as piano wire. The 225 mm size accommodates cutting capacities of up to 2.5 mm for piano wire, 3.0 mm for hard wire, and 14.0 mm for multi-stranded copper cables, with a weight of about 425 g.
