The Knipex 14 26 Series VDE Side Cutters/Wire Strippers are fitted with multi-component grips VDE tested up to 10 000V and safe for work up to 1 000V. They conform to DIN EN / IEC 60900. Made from top quality Vanadium electric special tool steel and have been forged and oil hardened. Chrome plated finish. They have flat round jaws for gripping surfaces and with the serrated edge will give a better grip on the workpiece. The cutting edges will give the user a good clean cut. These Knipex pliers have precision stripping holes for single (solid) conductors of 1.5 and 2.5 mm² and are suitable for gripping and cutting work in precision mechanics. The heavy-duty induction hardened precision blades are ideal for soft wire up to 4.0mm diameter and are hardened to approximately 60 HRC.
