Knipex 95 31 Series Cable Shears are designed for cutting copper and aluminium cables, single or multiple wires, with a high transmission ratio that reduces handforce and enables one-handed operation. The tool features precision-ground hardened blades for clean, smooth cuts without crushing or deformation and a two-stage ratchet drive to aid cutting in confined spaces. The hardened blades and forged, oil-hardened steel construction ensure durability, while two-component soft grip handles provide comfortable use. The length is 250 mm with a maximum cutting capacity of Ø 32 mm (240 mm²) for copper cables; it is not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes, or fine-stranded conductors. A pinch guard helps prevent finger pinching, and a fixed handle with a support area allows setting the tool down during use.
