The tool uses induction-hardened cutting edges with high edge strength to improve durability, along with a micro-structured cutting edge to reduce slipping of material from the jaws. It includes a gripping surface below the joint for pulling wires and slim multi-component grips without a collar for comfortable handling, complemented by a large contact surface on the handles to distribute pressure more evenly. This combination of design features aims to deliver reliable cutting performance with reduced manual effort across a range of wire types and thicknesses.
