The Knipex 70 01 Series Diagonal Cutters are constructed from vanadium electric steel, forged and multi-stage oil-hardened. The cutting edges are induction-hardened to provide extended wear resistance, with an approximate hardness around 61–62 HRC. They feature plastic coated handles, offering a comfortable, secure grip, and a narrow head style designed for use in confined spaces. These cutters are intended for clean cutting of thin copper wires as well as soft and hard wires, and they measure 160 mm in length. The tool is designed for long service life through high-quality materials and precise workmanship, suitable for general, all-round use.
