Knipex DP50 Plastic Pipe Cutter

The DP50 Plastic Pipe Cutter from Knipex is designed to cut and chamfer common domestic plastic drain pipes in a single operation. It features a reversible, high-quality ball-bearing steel blade that can be replaced without tools, and a spring-loaded blade that avoids unnecessary adjustments during cutting. The cutter provides a clean cut with no readjusting or deburring required, reducing potential blockages or damage to seals. It is capable of handling high-temperature plastics and pipes with diameters of 32, 40, or 50 mm, with wall thicknesses up to 2.4 mm. The tool uses self-adjusting rollers with plain bearings for optimum pipe guidance and easy cutting, and offers easy positioning thanks to a clear view of the cutting point. The housing is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic, and the blade is exchangeable with two cutting edges and can be reversed when worn. A minimum cutting length of about 10 mm allows trimming or fine cutting as needed.
