The Knipex 81 Series Plastic Pipe Grip Pliers are designed with exchangeable plastic jaws for use on sensitive surfaces, making them suitable for siphons, tube fittings, and connectors. They feature a fine, 25-position adjustment and a robust box-joint design with ergonomic handle geometry. Built for heavy-duty use, these pliers are forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened, with non-slip plastic-coated handles for comfortable operation. The jaws are exchangeable with a two-component plastic insert, providing secure grip on dirt-, oil- and fat-free surfaces, and allowing use on a range of diameters up to 75 mm. The tool is ideal for tightening and loosening siphon screw connections, plastic pipe fittings, round union nuts, connectors and couplings with screw connections, and gentle loosening of hoses on nozzles or filter cartridges.
