These Knipex 25 06 Series Snipe Nose Cutting Pliers feature multi-component grips and are designed for precise gripping and cutting tasks. They are VDE tested and conform to DIN EN/ IEC 60900 standards, suitable for work at high and standard voltages. Constructed from vanadium electric steel, they are forged and multi-stage oil-hardened with a chrome-plated finish. The half-round, long, tapered jaws have knurled gripping surfaces and cutting edges capable of handling soft, medium-hard, and hard wire. The cutting edges are induction-hardened to about 61 HRC, enabling finer work and reliable cutting, and the product is also known as radio pliers. These features make the tool appropriate for accessing easy and semi-difficult-to-reach areas while delivering steady performance on a range of wire gauges.
