Knipex VDE StepCut XL Cable Shears are designed for cutting larger cables with ease, featuring dual cutting areas and laser-hardened edges. The stepped cutting edge helps manage small and larger cables near the joint, while the front edge handles very large cables step by step. They allow easy one- or two-handed operation with a minimal handle opening and include an adjustable high-leverage bolted joint for precise, smooth cutting. The tool is equipped with VDE multi-component grips and is tested for electrical safety, conforming to relevant standards. A pinch guard reduces the chance of finger pinching. Not suitable for steel-reinforced cables such as ACSR. The overall length is 225 mm, and cutting capacities cover a range of solid, stranded, and fine stranded cables.”
