This line is specially designed for situations where far casts are needed and you do not want to use a leader knot, very useful in weedy waters. The line comes on a 300m spool and at each end of it, the line has an 8m piece with a diameter of 0.47mm. This cushions the force on the cast and offers good abrasion resistance. The subsequent 2m tapers to the chosen diameter. Both ends are identical, so should a line break you can flip the line on the spool and use it again. This tapered main line has the same properties as the standard Long Chuck main line. Very little stretch, low water absorption and a high break strength/diameter ratio.
