Soft over moulded section grips your rod firmly.Experience unwavering stability and ultimate security for your prized fishing rods with the KORUM Grappler Rod Rest. Expertly engineered for the modern coarse and specimen angler, this rod rest is your first line of defence against aggressive bites and powerful river currents. Say goodbye to the heart-stopping moment of a rod being violently pulled from its support, the Grappler is designed to hold on tight, giving you the peace of mind to focus on your fishing. Its unique design is particularly beneficial for feeder and river anglers who often face savage takes that can easily dislodge a rod from a conventional rest. The core of the Grappler´s exceptional performance lies in its intelligently angled design. This profile, combined with the high, protective sides, creates a secure cradle that effectively ´grapples´ your rod butt or blank. This design ensures that even during a forceful take, the rod is less likely to be pulled forward and out of the rest. It provides a secure anchor point that is essential when fishing locked-up or with tight clutches, a common tactic in modern river and commercial feeder fishing.Versatility is a key feature of the KORUM Grappler. It excels as both a front and a rear rest, adapting to your specific needs and fishing style. When used as a front rest, it offers maximum security for the front of your rod, preventing it from being dragged in. When deployed as a rear rest, its gripping properties provide a solid, non-slip anchor for your rod butt, ensuring your setup remains stable and perfectly positioned, even when you need to react quickly to a bite.Protecting your equipment is paramount, and the Grappler addresses this with its premium soft-touch, over-moulded section. This material not only provides the immense grip needed to hold the rod but also ensures that your rod´s delicate carbon blank or cork/EVA handle is protected from scratches and compression damage. A deep, smooth line groove is also incorporated into the design, allowing your fishing line to run freely without any impediment, which is crucial for superior bite indication and for playing fish effectively. Built to last and designed for performance, the KORUM Grappler Rod Rest is an essential addition to any angler´s arsenal who demands reliability and security from their setup.---Technical Specifications* Product Type: Rod Rest / Rod Holder* Attribute: Rod Pods* Ideal For: Feeder Fishing, River Fishing, Specimen Angling, Carp Fishing* Compatibility: Fits all standard banksticks, buzz bars, and rod pods* Key Feature: Soft-touch, non-slip over-moulded grip section* Design: High-sided, angled profile with a deep, central line groove for free line movement. tradeinn Waveinn
