As a standout in the world of modern Bite Alarms, the KRI focuses on the essential features that make a real difference to your session, ensuring you never miss a take. The KRI is compact, rugged and reliable, built to withstand the rigours of modern angling and unpredictable weather conditions. Its robust housing protects the sensitive internal components, giving you the confidence to fish effectively in any environment. One of its most innovative aspects is its integrated protection system. The KRI alarm features integral Snag Ears that can be adjusted whilst fishing and during transit. This brilliant design eliminates the need for separate, often costly, snag bars. You can quickly deploy them for maximum rod security during aggressive takes from powerful fish, and just as easily retract them for safe, compact storage, preventing damage to your other tackle. At the heart of the alarm is its exceptional detection technology. Featuring a sensitive hidden roller wheel and a bright LED, it's a fantastic choice for all forms of specimen angling. The concealed roller wheel is less susceptible to the elements, preventing issues with frost or debris, ensuring flawless operation when you need it most. This sensitivity is crucial for detecting subtle plucks and drop-back bites from wary fish like tench, bream, and specimen roach. The KRI provides clear and customisable alerts. The speaker features adjustable volume, allowing you to tailor the sound level to your surroundings—be it a quiet dawn or a windy afternoon. Complementing the audible alert, the vibrant LED boasts a 10 second alert feature. This latching LED gives you a crucial visual indicator, helping you quickly identify which rod has the action, even during the darkest nights.Designed for longevity and consistent power, the alarm requires a 9V battery for a longer useable lifespan, reducing the frequency of battery changes and ensuring it's always ready for action. The KRI is a purpose-built, standalone unit focused on core performance. Please note, it is not remote compatible, making it the perfect choice for the angler who prefers to stay close to their rods, fully immersed in the bankside experience.
