Kurayoshi Pure Malt Sherry Cask, 70 cl

Nose: Lemongrass, sweet oak and milk chocolate lead, among runny honey and stewed pears. Sultanas, ground ginger and crunchy brown sugar linger, with floral barley and blueberries underneath. Palate: Sherried malt, dried fruit and strawberries are present initially, before touches of chocolate peanuts and rich vanilla emerge. Finish: A medium length carries a little citrus zest.
