The Ladoucette family have been producing wines for over 600 years from their 165 hectare estate of Château du Nozet in Pouilly, and are recognised for producing some of the worlds finest Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. The key to any Ladoucette wine is quality – in the vineyard, the winery and the bottle. Wines from de Ladoucette are regarded as some of the finest examples of France's key wine producing regions, with a reputation for elegance, complexity and quality. Ladoucette Sancerre Comte Lafond Grande Cuvee Blanc has a rich golden colour slightly tinged with green. The nose shows the classic aromas of Sancerre: a herbaceous, grassy almost gooseberry smell with plenty of minerally, river pebble nuances. The palate is soft and refined with gentle citrus fruits and lifting acidity. A true classic of a wine, harmoniously balanced with rich complex flavours.
