Unlike conventional plastics, the organic plastic developed especially for this product is not made from limited petroleum resources, but more than 85% of vegetable raw materials, e.g. sweet grasses such as sugar cane. This means that GEO crockery offers a long-term alternative to disposable or oil-based plastic crockery and at the same time saves valuable resources. The Lässig Geo crockery has been certified to the international standard ASTM D 6866:2020-02 by DIN CERTCO as > 85% bio-based. It is also BPA and melamine free and dishwasher safe up to 65°C.
