Matured for 10 years in a combination of newly charred “rejuvenated” casks and former Bourbon barrels, this is a dram that displays Lagavulin’s house style perfectly. This has given a fine combination of smoky, spicy, creamy smooth notes. Presented at 43% abv, this limited edition dram was released exclusively for travel retail. Tasting Notes: Nose: A sea breeze runs throughout rock salt, ripe apple, burnt sugar and maritime peat smoke. Taste: Sweet and salty, with a good kick of chilli pepper, followed by roasted almond and more smoke. Finish: A creamy, smoky, spicy finish.
