Precautions If any of these doses cause excessive flatulence, reduce the dose and gradually increase it. Flatulence is a positive sign that Eliminex® has reached the intestine and is feeding the beneficial bacteria. When the bacteria consume Eliminex®, gas is produced, which may initially cause flatulence. However, this will disappear within a few days as more beneficial bacteria develop and absorb the gas. For doses greater than 10 g (or 5 g for children), divide the daily dose into two administrations (one at the end of the day), which will help reduce flatulence. Eliminex® may cause temporary bloating. This is a short-term effect and once your system “accelerates”, the bloating will go away.
