Food supplement with ginger root that contributes to the proper functioning of the digestive system, while relieving symptoms of indigestion. More recently, it has been used to relieve joint discomfort. The active ingredient in ginger is gingerol (gingerols and zingerones). It contains potassium, zinc, and polyphenols, which are responsible for some of its beneficial actions. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of ginger as a traditional herbal remedy for the treatment of symptoms of nausea and vomiting, as well as mild digestive discomforts such as bloating and flatulence. At Lamberts , a standardized extract is used that contains the active ingredients of ginger in a concentrated form of dark paste, which is dissolved in sunflower oil and placed in capsules. By using this method, the active ingredients: gingerols and zingerones, are preserved unchanged. More than 14 grams of fresh ginger root are needed to produce 120 mg of extract, an amount contained in each capsule of the preparation. Recommended dosage 1 capsule per day. It can be taken before or between meals.
