Lanberg Ads-rj45-2rj45-os 2xrj45 Splitter. Lanberg ADS-RJ45-2RJ45-OS 2xRJ45 Splitter: Expand Your Network Connectivity with EaseUnlock the full potential of your existing network infrastructure with the Lanberg ADS-RJ45-2RJ45-OS 2xRJ45 Splitter. This compact and highly efficient device is the ultimate solution for home and office environments where you need to connect more devices than you have available Ethernet ports. If you´re faced with the common problem of a single network wall outlet but need to connect two devices, such as a PC and a printer or a smart TV and a gaming console, this splitter provides a straightforward and cost-effective answer without the need for complex and expensive network switches or running new cables through your walls. The Lanberg RJ45 Splitter is ingeniously designed for simplicity and reliability. Its primary function is to physically split a single 8-wire Ethernet cable connection into two separate outputs. This allows you to manage your connections more effectively. It is crucial to understand that this is a passive splitter, not an active network switch. When used as a single unit, it allows two devices to be physically connected to one port, with only one device being able to transmit data at any given time. However, the true power of the ADS-RJ45-2RJ45-OS is revealed when used in pairs. By placing one splitter at the router or switch and another at the remote end of a single, long Ethernet cable, you can transmit two independent 10/100 Mbps network connections over that one cable run. This is an incredibly economical and practical method for doubling the network capacity in a room without the significant cost and effort of installing a second cable, making it an ideal choice for system integrators and DIY home network enthusiasts.Key Benefits:* Cost-Effective Network Expansion: Avoid the high costs and labor associated with installing new network cabling. This splitter offers an affordable way to double the connectivity of a single Ethernet drop, maximizing your current infrastructure.* Simple Plug-and-Play Installation: No software, drivers, or external power source is required. The passive design means you can simply plug in your RJ-45 cables and the splitter is ready to go, making for a hassle-free setup in seconds.* Versatile Application: Perfect for a wide range of scenarios, from expanding your home office setup to managing connections in conference rooms, server closets, or retail point-of-sale systems. It works seamlessly with PCs, laptops, smart TVs, game consoles, IP cameras, and other network-enabled devices.* Durable and Compact Design: Built with quality materials to ensure a stable and reliable signal transmission. Its small footprint allows for discreet placement behind desks, entertainment centers, or in network cabinets without adding clutter.Main Features:* Enables the connection of two devices to a single RJ-45 network port.* Supports the transmission of two separate 10/100Base-T Ethernet signals over a single UTP/FTP cable when used in a pair.* Features a fully passive design, requiring no external power for operation.* Constructed for durability, ensuring a long service life and consistent performance.* Compatible with standard network cables, including Cat 5e and Cat 6.* Provides a secure and stable connection for all connected devices.Specifications:* Type: Ethernet Signal Splitter* Connector Gender: FemalePorts and Interfaces:* Connector Configuration: 1 x RJ-45 Female to 2 x RJ-45 Female* Number of Connectors: 3Choose the Lanberg ADS-RJ45-2RJ45-OS for a reliable, straightforward, and economical way to manage and expand your wired network infrastructure.
