This wide aperture gathers an immense amount of light, making it a dream for capturing the Milky Way, starry nightscapes, and indoor scenes without needing to push your camer´s ISO to its limits. The f/2 aperture also allows for a beautiful, soft background blur when focusing on close subjects, a rare and sought-after characteristic in an ultra-wide-angle lens. With its expansive 110° angle of view, the LAOWA 15mm f/2 Zero-D allows you to fit sweeping landscapes, grand interiors, and dramatic cityscapes into a single, impactful frame. It´s designed to immerse your viewer in the scene. Furthermore, its remarkable minimum focusing distance of just 15cm (5.9 inches) opens up a world of wide-angle macro photography. Get incredibly close to your subject to emphasize foreground details while still retaining the vast, expansive background, creating dynamic and compelling perspectives.Designed for versatility, this manual focus lens offers a tactile and precise shooting experience. A built-in switch allows you to instantly change the aperture ring from clicked, for definitive stops in photography, to de-clicked for smooth, silent iris pulls during video recording. This dual functionality makes it a hybrid powerhouse for both stills and motion. Despite its powerful capabilities, the lens is surprisingly compact and lightweight, making it an excellent companion for travel and for use on gimbals and stabilizers. Another key feature is the standard 72mm front filter thread, allowing you to easily attach common screw-in filters like polarizers and neutral density filters without the need for bulky and expensive adapter systems.Main Features & Technical Specifications:* Focal Length: 15mm* Mount: Canon RF* Aperture Range: f/2 to f/22* Angle of View: 110°* Format Compatibility: Full-Frame* Optical Design: Zero-Distortion (Zero-D)* Lens Structure: 12 elements in 9 groups* Aperture Blades: 5* Focusing: Manual Focus (MF)* Minimum Focusing Distance: 15 cm* Maximum Magnification: 1:4 (0.25x)* Filter Thread: 72mm* Aperture Ring: Clicked/De-clicked Switchable. tradeinn Techinn
