Laphroaig Cairdeas - Quarter Cask - Feis Ile 2017 Islay Single Malt Scotch 57.2% ABV Nose: Lots of salty lemon curd and vanillin smoke, some minerally and iodine notes, peppery pear drops, smoked cottage cheese, chalky, soft and creamy oak. Palate: Peppery lime curd, sooty vanilla,pear drops from rock pools, salty coconut fudge, seafood shells, star anise, oily green olive dressing. Finish: Salty green fruit, peppery vanilla, smoked kiwi, aniseed, drying into soapy/floral peat.
