Made with a proportion of cloudy wort – as well as the usual semi-cloudy wort – this expression is heavier in flavour than many Laphroaigs, with increased phenolic notes. This shows in the form woody peat smoke and charred liquorice, leading to notes of pineapple, smoky bacon and clove on the palate.
