Spring clips opened with pliers & clamp tool easily inserted to hold clip open, freeing up hands & pliers for the next clamp. Simple operation: Open the spring clip with pliers and slide the appropriate holding tool into place. Remove pliers. The clip stays open leaving the mechanics hands free to work. With the clip holding tool in place, the clip can easily be positioned by hand without fear of trapped fingers and the use of bulky pliers. Eyelet doubles as handle and a place to tie a ribbon, string or tie wrap to make finding the tool easier if dropped.
