Laser Proximity Sensor Type ToF, Installation in a Box Diameter 60 mm, Flush Mounted, IP30, Motion for Controlling Lights Stairwells and Hallways, DRL 12/FIF

The DRL-60-12 is a ToF laser distance sensor designed for controlling low voltage lighting, especially in hallways and stairwells. The operating principle is based on the emission of a light beam and measuring the delay of light return due to reflection on the obstacle. On this basis, the distance of the obstacle can be determined accurately, which is then compared with the set detection range. A condition for turning on the light is the presence of an obstacle within the set detection range of the sensor. The second condition is that the ambient brightness is below the value set on the sensor. This solution is ideal for switching lighting circuits, e.g. on an open staircase where it is important that the sensor only detects the presence on the stairs and ignores anything that happens outside the stairs. F&F Laser distance sensor: The aluminium laser distance sensor DRL-60-12 is mounted in a housing with a diameter of 60 mm. The protection class is IP30.
