HOTTER THAN PROPANE, FASTER JOINTS: LavaTap MAP gas burns with a label-rated 3600°F flame, hotter than propane, so copper heats faster and solder runs sooner. Made for soldering and brazing copper pipe on plumbing and heating jobs. FITS CGA600 MAP GAS TORCHES: Each cylinder has the standard CGA600 (1 inch x 20 UNEF) screw thread used by MAP and propane trade torches. It does not fit 7/16 inch EN417 camping-gas or butane torches, so check your torch thread first. ONE 400g CYLINDER, MORE PACK SIZES AVAILABLE: A full 400g MAP gas cylinder for the job in hand. Need spares for the van? Choose a 2, 4, 6, 12 or 24 pack from the options on this page and pay less per cylinder. ONE GAS FOR EVERY HOT JOB: Soldering and brazing copper and brass, freeing seized nuts and fittings, thawing frozen pipes, heat-shrinking, roofing felt and general workshop heating. NON-REFILLABLE CYLINDER MADE TO EN 11118: Keep the cylinder upright, screw the torch on hand-tight with no tools, check for leaks with soapy water, and fit or remove the torch outdoors, away from flames and sparks.
