CleaningModeUntil now, you had to make a decision when cleaning the refrigerator: do I switch it off to save energy, or leave it switched on so I can see? The CleaningMode removes this dilemma. The refrigeration switches off while the lights stay on. This means you can stay totally relaxed while cleaning your Liebherr. EnergySaverDo you want to save energy and money at the same time? Your Liebherr will help you do just that – with the energy-saving mode. When you activate the EnergySaver, the standard temperature increases by two degrees. This means your Liebherr needs even less power – and your food stays optimally fresh. Display lockAn illuminated display is a magnet for children's hands – your Liebherr also knows that. That's why there is the display lock. It ensures the settings on your refrigerator are not changed unintentionally. You can also, of course, simply deactivate the display lock. NightModeYour Liebherr wishes you have a good night's sleep – and makes sure you're not disturbed. This is because in NightMode it switches off all sounds and noises. And the IceMaker remains quiet as a mouse too. The interior lighting also dims so that you are greeted by soft light when you open the fridge at night. HolidayModeAre you going away? Then why not send your Liebherr on holiday too? In HolidayMode, the fan and SuperCool are switched off and your refrigerator regulates its temperature to +15 °C. This saves electricity but still prevents unpleasant odours. The freezer compartment, of course, remains switched on. SuperCoolYou want your fridge to maintain the optimum temperature, even if you have just put shopping in from the market which has been warmed by the sun? This is a case for SuperCool. Once activated, your Liebherr boosts its performance until the fresh food is as cool as the rest of the contents. SuperCool then switches off automatically. Door alarmThe door alarm of your Liebherr makes sure that you don’t unnecessarily use energy and that food doesn’t go off: if the appliance door stays open for too long an alarm goes off – flashing light and a warning tone. You decide what “too long” means: depending on the settings the door alarm comes on after one, two or three minutes. SabbathModeOn the Sabbath, all activities are at rest – this also applies to electrical appliances. Your Liebherr takes this into account. In SabbathMode, all lighting and displays are switched off and there are no noises generated by actions, e.g. alarms. After 80 hours, the SabbathMode deactivates. Bottle shelf above the BioFresh safeExpecting guests and want to chill a few more drinks than usual? The bottle shelf above the BioFresh safes exists for this very reason. Simply remove the glass shelf above the bottle shelf in one easy step – and you can now safely store and cool bottles of various sizes. Thanks to FreshAir activated carbon filters, there is always fresh air in the interior. The filter is located right on the air flow in the fan housing and neutralises odours as far as possible. This will store up to 10 chicken eggs, keeping them stable and protected, and well cooled. The tray fits both in the inside door and on the glass shelves. The replaceable door seal can be removed in a few simple steps – and the new seal is just as easy to insert. As a result, this part of the refrigerator is always spotless and hygienically clean.
