This exceptional graphic novel, a standout piece in our Books and Comics collection, offers a sharp, witty, and visually stunning exploration of modern-day human connection, or the lack thereof. It is a must-have for any reader who appreciates thoughtful social commentary delivered through the vibrant and expressive medium of comics. This work masterfully captures the essence of the CONTEMPORARY EGOTRIP. When did we become specialists in reading and listening diagonally, sweeping things under the rug, and constantly gazing at our navels? Lo Sabes Aunque No Te Lo He Dicho dives headfirst into the challenging dynamics of today´s world. It dissects the pervasive narcissism, the breakdown of real communication, and the widespread lack of emotional management that define our interactions. Contemporary relationships, whether in a work, family, love, or friendship context, are increasingly characterized by a paralyzing fear of commitment and a default tendency to avoid conflict at all costs. These issues are only exacerbated by our collective addiction to the curated realities of social media. With an incisive blend of humor and critical reflection, author and artist Candela Sierra masterfully explores the everyday communication problems that are symptomatic of our time. She casts a critical eye on the superficiality of relationships, a certain creeping moral misery, and our tendency to behave like sheep, following trends without genuine thought or feeling. This is more than just a story, it's a mirror held up to society, prompting essential questions about how we connect with one another. The true genius of this comic lies in how it squeezes all the juice out of the expressive resources offered by the language of comics. Sierr´s unique artistic approach makes the subtext visible. Witness characters who get angry over metaphorical record scratches in conversation, whose thoughts are literally cut off with ellipses, or who vanish completely behind their own self-absorbed speech bubbles. This visual storytelling is rendered in a very personal and evocative color palette that artfully draws on influences from masters like Brecht Evens, creating a rich and immersive reading experience. This graphic novel is an essential purchase for connoisseurs of the art form and readers seeking intellectually stimulating content.Technical Specifications:* Publisher: ASTISENDO GRUPO EDITORIAL* Author/Artist: Candela Sierra* Language: Spanish* Category: Fan zone* Subcategory: Books and comics* Binding: Paperback* Genre: Contemporary, Graphic Novel, Social Commentary. tradeinn Techinn
