1.Emergency diesel fuel filler funnel for Ford models with the Easy Fuel capless filler neck. Fits Ford Focus Mk3 2014 onwards, Fiesta diesel, Galaxy Mk3 2015 onwards, Kuga Mk2 2013 onwards, Mondeo Mk5 2014 onwards, S-Max Mk2 2015 onwards, Transit Mk8 2013 onwards, Transit Custom, Transit Connect MK2, Tourneo Connect MK2, Tourneo Courier and EcoSport. Diesel engines only. Replaces 1782177, 8U5A-17B068-BB, 1833948 and 2050651. Grey plastic, one funnel. 2.Ford Easy Fuel cars have no screw cap, just a spring loaded flap, and the diesel filler neck also has a misfuelling device inside it. You cannot refuel from a can or a jerrycan without the correct funnel: the spout on a can has a ridge that catches on the seal, and a diesel filler will not open for a standard spout at all. That is why Ford supplies an emergency funnel with every diesel car. If the original is lost, this grey funnel lets you refuel from a can and releases the filler lock. 3. Grey plastic emergency fuel filler funnel, shaped as a wide cone with a narrow tube and a small hook clip on the side that holds it on the filler neck. Nozzle outer diameter about 24 mm, the size the diesel filler neck needs. Overall length about 17.5 cm, weight about 30 g. Reference numbers 1782177, 8U5A-17B068-BB, 8U5A17B068BB, 1833948 and 2050651. Supplied as one funnel; the black plastic storage bag seen in some cars is not included. 4. Open the fuel flap, then push the narrow end of the funnel fully into the filler neck until it seats. This opens the spring loaded flap and the misfuelling device, so you can pour diesel in from a can or a container. Pour slowly and do not overfill. When you have finished, wipe the funnel clean, let it dry and put it back in its storage place: in most Ford models it lives in the tool tray under the boot floor or behind the rear seats. Do not leave the funnel in the filler neck while you drive. 5. Three checks before you order. One: this funnel is for diesel engines only. A petrol car needs the white funnel, and the two are not the same part. Two: check your car has the Easy Fuel capless filler, so no screw cap, just a flap; a car with a normal screw cap already takes a can spout and does not need this part. Three: compare your old part number with 1782177 and 8U5A-17B068-BB before ordering. Grey plastic, supplied as one funnel. 6.ford easy fuel funnel, ford diesel fuel funnel, emergency fuel filler funnel ford, capless fuel funnel ford diesel, ford misfuelling funnel, ford fuel filler adapter, emergency diesel funnel 1782177, ford fuel funnel 8u5a-17b068-bb, ford diesel refuelling funnel, easy fuel emergency funnel ford diesel, ford capless filler funnel grey, ford transit diesel fuel funnel, ford focus diesel fuel funnel, ford fiesta diesel fuel funnel, ford kuga diesel fuel funnel, ford galaxy diesel fuel funnel, ford mondeo diesel fuel funnel, ford s-max diesel fuel funnel, ford easy fuel funnel lost
