Hand Picked LP heads represent the premium selection of percussion heads, thickness: approx. 1 mm Coat height (new condition): approx. 30 mm, material: untanned buffalo hide (LP Original Logo) Fit Rim: All LP Traditional and X Series Bongo hoops in corresponding size, Notes: LP1964 shells have slightly smaller shell diameters. Quality and texture of components is identical to regular Hand Picked Bongo skins. The indicated head sizes correspond to the crown diameter (for bongos and djembes the largest diameter of the shell). This is a measure to harmonise the size specifications with REMO and LP Congas. For LP bongos with manufacturer's specifications of 5 1/2", 7 1/4" and 8 5/8", choose 5 1/4", 7" and 8.5" skins accordingly.
