LP Matador skins in standard quality, cheap alternative to LP Hand Picked skins. Thickness: approx. 1 mm, coat height (when new): approx. 30 mm Material: untanned buffalo hide, fit Rim: All LP Traditional and X Series Bongo hoops in corresponding size. Note: The tension hoop determines the outer diameter of the head, the size specification the crown diameter at the burr. LP bongo heads have the same outer diameter for the same shell size, regardless of the type of hoop. The specified head sizes correspond to the crown diameter (for bongos and djembes, the largest diameter of the shell). This is a measure to harmonise the size specifications with REMO and LP congas. For LP bongos with manufacturer's specifications of 5 1/2", 7 1/4" and 8 5/8", choose 5 1/4", 7" and 8.5" skins accordingly.
